Preservation seems to have a bad connotation with those not in the field (why do you want to spend money on that old building?).

If moving a historic structure will save it then it should be moved. Fighting to save a building on it's original site without concession

Our first goal is to save structures intact for reassembly elsewhere, however if that is not possible any materials that can be salvaged
